Marking the one year countdown to the 2016 presidential election, Telemundo will make available its first news app on November 8.
The “Noticias Telemundo” app will provide real-time election results in Spanish to smart phone and tablet users, extending into the “wearable” market through its Apple Watch app.
According to Telemundo, the app will provide a personalized experience, including custom push notifications, location-based information such as weather, live stream capabilities and exclusive election coverage.
The news app was developed by NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises’ Digital & Emerging Business in partnership with Telemundo News.
