Sports anchor Sammy Sadovnik has signed a 5-year deal to remain with NBC Deportes/Telemundo Network.
His contract extension secures his participation in the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio and the 2018 World Cup, which will take place in Russia.
He’ll also lead the FIFA World Cup competitions and continue to call the play by plays of the Barclays Premier League and home games for León & Pachuca televised on Telemundo and NBC Universo.
Sadovnik joined Deportes Telemundo in 2007 and is currently part of the “Fútbol Estelar” anchor team. He was previously narrator and TV host for GOLTV. Before that, he worked for the syndicated sports radio network “Fútbol de Primera.”
He began his broadcasting career working for Radio Libertad in his native Perú.
