Cisco Suárez continues to work for Univision. Earlier reports that the award winning producer and director is no longer with the company are incorrect.
A spokeswoman today stated Suárez remains with Univision, where he has spent more than 20 years in management positions.
Suárez, who oversees production of multiple live events such as the Latin GRAMMYs, Premios Lo Nuestro, Premios Juventud, Nuestra Belleza Latina and the music reality competition La Banda, has been Univision’s SVP of Special Events for the past 12 years.
Prior to becoming SVP of Special Events for Univision in 2004, he was VP and Director of Operations for TeleFutura Network (now UniMás) since 2001. He joined the company in 1993 as Telefutura’s Director of Project Development.
Before that, spent 5 years at Telemundo Network, as Senior Executive Producer and Creative Director, in charge of special events and creative development for new shows.
Earlier in his career, he worked for as producer and director for CBS Miami affiliate station WTVJ and senior director for NBC affiliate station WPTV.
