Former Univision exec Kevin Conroy has landed at MGM in the newly created role of President of Digital and New Platforms.
He’ll be reporting to Mark Burnett, MGM’s president of Television and Digital Group.
Conroy who “stepped down” from his role as Univision’s Chief Strategy and Data Officer in March of this year “to pursue new opportunities,”
will oversee all MGM’s initiatives for new and emerging platforms, including OTT efforts.
He’ll also develop and expand partnerships with brands to produce virtual and augmented reality experiences.
Before joining Univision in 2009, he spent 8 years at AOL in multiple senior level roles, including GM of AOL Entertainment, COO of AOL Broadband and EVP Global Products and Marketing.
