Kathia Yarí López has joined Telemundo 62 in Philadelphia as a news producer. She is producing the 5 pm newscast Monday through Friday.
She was most recently a news producer at KFTV’s Noticias Univision 21 Fresno.
Before that, López worked for Entravision Reno (KREN) and Las Vegas (KINC-15) in multiple capacities from 2014 to 2016. In Las Vegas, she was an assignment editor, an MMJ and a news producer for the weekday 11 pm newscast. While at KINC, she picked up an Emmy award for an entertainment series.
She previously spent a year at Entravision Reno, where she was a promotions producer.
A native of Puerto Rico, she started her career at El Nuevo Día, where she did a brief stint as multimedia reporter.
