Chalvire, who joined CBS4 in Harlingen in 2015, is now anchoring sports for the 6 and 10 pm newscasts on Saturdays and 5:30 and 10 pm Sunday shows.
He’ll also be a weekday sports MMJ reporting high school sports and doing local sports features Wednesday through Friday.
Prior to joining KGBT, he was a web journalist for Fox affiliate WSVN in Miami after graduating from FIU in 2014.
