Based in the company’s Los Angeles headquarters, he reports to CEO Herb Scannell.
In his new role, Chávez will drive all aspects of mitú’s business strategy, including audience development across social platforms, data and analytics, and account management.
He will also continue to lead the framework and workflow to support the expansion of mitu’s strategic branded partnerships as well as digital network platforms – from Snapchat Discover to YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.
Chávez previously spent nine years at Univision, working in senior leadership roles managing digital operations and strategy across the company’s Television, Local Interactive Media and Univision Radio groups.
