Carolina Cruz starts a new job as news producer for WSNS Telemundo Chicago.
She joins the station from Univision’s WGBO in the Windy City, where she had been working part-time as weekend news producer since September 2016.
Today is her first day at Telemundo.
Cruz previously worked in front of the camera. She was an MMJ at WVEA Univision Tampa Bay until Entravision shut down newscast operations in Tampa in 2015.
Before that, she spent two years as an MMJ for WTVO/WQRF and an anchor/producer of the station’s Spanish-language newscast ”Eyewitness News en Español.”
Cruz got her start in journalism as a freelance reporter for La Raza newspaper in Chicago.
