Claudia Amezcua has started a new position as Digital Content Producer for KGW channel 8, the NBC-affiliate in Portland.
She’ll be working evenings Tuesday to Saturday managing KGW’s website and social media accounts.
Today is her first day on the job.
Amezcua moves up more than 100 markets from KTVL in Medford, where she was a Digital Content Producer since 2017.
Before heading to the Pacific Northwest, she was a Digital News Producer at the KFXL/KHGI duopoly (ABC/FOX affiliates) in Central Nebraska.
She previously freelanced for entertainment news website M.U.S.E., City of Fontana’s community cable channel KFON-TV, and as an assignment desk/production assistant for CNN in Los Angeles.
