Benjamín Zamora has left Entravision’s KINC-15 in Las Vegas to join WSNS Telemundo Chicago as a reporter.
He started at WSNS this week, but is not yet on air.
Zamora was an 11 pm news anchor and producer at Univision Las Vegas since 2016, until Entravision shut down production of the local newscast. He survived a wave of layoffs in April, staying on board to produce stories for a Las Vegas newscast produced from El Paso.
An El Paso native, he previously worked at Entravision’s KINT a reporter, executive producer, fill-in anchor and assistant news director from 2014 to 2016.
He also worked as an MMJ for NBC affiliate KTSM NewsChannel 9 and KTDO Telemundo as a reporter and executive producer.
