Juan Carlos Pinzón has left KXTX Telemundo 39 in Dallas, where he was most recently a senior writer and producer. He’s jumping ship to the competition.
Starting January 2, Pinzón joins Univision Dallas 23 as executive producer.
This is the second time Pinzón leaves KXTX. He previously resigned to his post as EP at the Telemundo Dallas station in 2015.
After a brief break, he moved to Washington, D.C., where he was EP of Entravision’s weekly political and public affairs program “Perspectiva Nacional.” But he was there only six months, before returning to a lower-tiered position at KXTX.
Before his departure in 2015, Pinzón had worked at Telemundo in several capacities for the past 12 years, including executive news producer for the now-defunct Telemundo Production Center, news producer for Telemundo Houston and a producer/anchor for Telemundo Denver.
