Andrés Chaparro, general manager of KDEN Telemundo 25 Denver, is no longer with the company. He exited Telemundo today.
“Andres Chaparro has decided to move on from Telemundo Denver. We wish him well in his future endeavors,” says a station spokesperson.
Manuel Martínez, president of the Telemundo Station Group, will oversee the station’s operations until a Chaparro’s replacement is announced.
No further details about Chaparro’s departure are currently available.
Chaparro joined Telemundo Denver in 2010 as station manager and was promoted to GM in 2015, overseeing the overall management of the station’s broadcast, sales, marketing and digital operations.
He previously held sales manager positions at Telemundo Chicago and Dallas. Before that, he worked for the Entravision-owned Univision affiliate Albuquerque and KUVN Univision 23 in Dallas.
