WarnerMedia has named Christy Haubegger to the position of EVP, chief enterprise inclusion officer.
She’ll report directly to CEO John Stankey and work with senior leadership to “drive business growth through strategic investment in diverse audiences and to ensure the organization’s workforce is representative of the markets it serves.”
Haubegger most recently spent 14 years at Creative Artists Agency, where she worked to increase representation of women and people of color in the entertainment industry and in the talent agency itself.
Under her leadership, CAA launched CAA Amplify, an annual meeting of high-level multicultural artists and leaders, as well as the Amplify Database, a database of television writers of color.
According to USC’s Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, the agency grew the diversity of its roster more than 1400% during her tenure.
A Stanford Law School graduate, Haubegger founded Latina magazine in 1996 and was its first publisher. She exited the magazine in 2001 and moved into the world of entertainment, working as a film producer, before joining CAA.
WarnerMedia includes HBO, CNN, TNT, TBS, Cartoon Network, truTV and the Warner Bros. film and television studio and is part of AT&T.
