Telemundo 62 Philadelphia has hired Isabel Sánchez as a dayside reporter for its news team.
She joins the station on Monday, February 24.
Prior to joining Telemundo 62, Sánchez spent two years as a bilingual reporter and anchor at WBOC-TV, where she helped launch Telemundo Delmarva, serving the Salisbury, Maryland television market.
She previously worked as a news anchor for Citrus TV Noticias, a Spanish-language television newscast in Syracuse, New York.
She began her broadcasting career in radio, moving later into television, in her native of Venezuela. She moved to the United States in 2015 to pursue a master’s degree in Broadcast Journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.
