Estrella TV announced it has launched expanded news coverage of the coronavirus pandemic that includes three new national weekday news shows.
Carlos Trillo and Wendy Castillo will anchor a new newscast at 12 pm ET/11 am CT.
That’s followed by “Noticiero EstrellaTV: Reportaje Especial, Coronavirus la Pandemia,” at 4 pm ET/3 pm CT and another show at 9 pm ET/8 pm CT. Mirthala Salinas will anchor both of those shows.
The new programs will focus on the national health crisis and its impact on the Hispanic community.
The shows are in addition to the already scheduled Noticiero EstrellaTV at 5:30 pm ET/4:30 pm CT and Cierre de Edición at 10:30 pm/9:30 pm CT, as well as local newscasts in Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, and Miami.
