Former CNN en Español anchor Carlos Montero has found a new TV home with Canal 5 Noticias (C5N).
He is now a Miami-based correspondent for the Argentinian cable news channel.
Since his departure from CNN, where he worked for 21 years and was one of CNNE’s original anchors, Montero launched his own production company “Montero Media.”
After more than two decades in Atlanta, Montero moved to Miami six months ago.
Over the past three years, Montero says he has produced several specials and events with his company, was a visiting professor at Universidad Alas Peruanas in Peru, and did some freelance reporting for Univision network.
Prior to CNNE, Montero was an anchor for NBC Canal de Noticias and Argentina’s Canal 2. From 1989 to 1994 he was a reporter and producer for Univision News in Miami and a U.S. correspondent for Telefé Noticias in Argentina.
