Former Telemundo development exec Fernando Gastón joins ViacomCBS International Studios as VP of Content.
His hire is part of the company’s expansion of its Americas team.
Gastón will oversee the strategy, development, and production of all VIS productions in the region. He’ll report to Federico Cuervo, SVP, Head of VIS Americas.
Most recently, Gastón was VP of Development and Production for Telemundo Global Studios, in charge of new series and pilots. Before that, he was VP of Development and Production for NBC Universo.
This marks his return to the Viacom Family. He previously worked as SVP, Brand Head at MTV/VHI Latin America and Tr3s in the U.S.
