Palmira Pérez is Estrella Media’s new anchor for its national nightly news show “Noticiero EstrellaTV.”
She’ll also anchor the midday newscast for KRCA Los Angeles as well as “24 Horas,” which is part of Estrella News 24/7 streaming digital news network, available on multiple platforms, including Roku, Amazon and Pluto TV.
She started the new job on Monday, August 2.
Pérez was most recently a freelance anchor and reporter for Univision’s KMEX-Channel 34 in Los Angeles. She was previously anchor and reporter for Univision’s KDTV-Channel 14. After spending two years in the San Francisco Bay Area, she resigned in 2019 to return to L.A.
Her past experience includes roles as national anchor for the now defunct Mundo Max network (which launched as MundoFox). Before that, she was a local news reporter at NBC-Telemundo-owned KWHY-Channel 22, which was later sold picked up as a Mundo Fox affiliate.
