After eight years leading the newsroom at Univision Chicago, Teri Arvesu has left the station.
Arvesu, who moved from Miami to the Windy City in 2013 to take on her first news director job, was promoted to VP and Director of Content in January 2017.
According to sources, she is moving on to a yet-to-be announced corporate position within the company.
A Univision spokesperson confirmed her departure as VP of Content for Chicago but would not elaborate on her new role, which will be announced soon.
Prior to joining Univision in 2003, Arvesu spent 10 years in various positions at Telemundo.
