Univision New York has brought in a new anchor and three reporters to its news team.
Jonathan Inoa is now co-anchor of the station’s 11 pm newscast.
Prior to moving to Univision 41, Inoa spent 17 years as general assignment reporter at NY1 Noticias. He was also an on-air personality at New York’s WHCR radio from 1995 to 2009. He began his career in radio in his native Dominican Republic.
As part of the changes to its news team, Univision announced Victor Javier Solano has moved to anchor the 6pm newscast.
The other new on-air journalists are reporter Filippo Ferretti and MMJs Alejandro Condis and Piter Ortega.
Ferretti joins the station after spending over four years as an MMJ at Entravision’s WVEA in Tampa. He previously worked as a news reporter, producer and anchor at Euro News and Mediaset Italia.
Condis arrives from Telemundo Las Vegas, where he most recently hosted the OTT digital newscast “Dale Play.” He previously worked as a reporter, producer and anchor at Mega TV in Miami.
Ortega returns to Univision New York after spending a year as a reporter at Telemundo 39 in Dallas. Before his move to Texas, he worked as a writer at Univision 41 from 2018 to 2019. Before that, he was a reporter at NY1 Noticias.
