NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises is launching a new content brand called Tplus that will feature programming exclusively developed for Latino audiences they company calls “200%ers” – who are 100% American and 100% Latino.
Today’s announcement also included a peek into Telemundo’s slate of original programming for Tplus, which will arrive to Peacock’s premium tier in the fall of 2022. The network also shared initial streaming plans for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022™ that will feature live coverage of matches on the streaming service.
Telemundo is bolstering its streaming presence – not just on Peacock. As part of the day’s reveal, it announced all of its owned stations will be launching their own local news streaming channels later this year in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, and Puerto Rico.
