Telemundo revealed it will launch a Spanish-language 24-hour news channel.
The network teased its plans as part of its 2022-23 programming announcements, ahead of its May 16 Upfront.
The streaming news channel will be called Noticias Telemundo Ahora, in partnership with NBC News NOW.
The network offered few details about the new offering, which it says will cover breaking news and key Latino lifestyle topics and live reporting from all major U.S. cities, as well as interviews with newsmakers.
Univision launched its news streaming channel “Noticias Univision 24/7” in December 2021.
