Juan Carlos Pinzón has landed his first news director job at Univision’s O&O in Washington, DC.
He started the new role this week.
This marks his return to the station, where he did a brief stint in 2015 when it was operated by Entravision.
Pinzón made the current move from Univision Dallas, where he was executive producer since January 2019.
He was previously a senior writer and producer at KXTX Telemundo 39 in Dallas.
His past experience includes a prior 12-year run with Telemundo stations in Denver, Houston and Dallas, where he also worked for the now-defunct Telemundo Production Center and an earlier news anchor gig at Univision Colorado.
