Marissa Parra has started a new job as an NBC network news correspondent.
Based in Washington, D.C., she is reporting for all NBC News and MSNBC platforms.
Parra joined the network from CBS2 in Chicago, where had been a general assignment reporter since 2019.
The move marks her return to the nation’s capital, where she worked as a freelance producer for ABC News’ Washington, D.C. bureau, and earlier in her career, did a stint as a video editor at WUSA-9.
Parra landed her first on-air job as an MMJ and fill-in anchor at ABC affiliate WSET-TV in Lynchburg, VA in 2015.
