Reporter Eliecer Marte has left Telemundo New York for a chance to cross over into English-language reporting with News 12 Networks.
The Emmy-award winning journalist started last week as a general assignment reporter for New Jersey-based cable network, where he’ll also focus on special projects covering issues affecting the Hispanic community.
He’ll be working weekdays, reporting for all platforms, including the 24-7 streaming news channel News12 New York.
Marte previously worked at WNJU-Telemundo 47 as a general assignment reporter and weekend fill-in anchor.
Prior to joining Telemundo 47 in 2018, he worked at Univision Network, first as a NY Correspondent and later, in Miami. While at Univision, he reported for Network News, Primer Impacto, Despierta America and Sal Y Pimienta.
Before Univision, Marte was a NYC based correspondent for MundoFOX.
