Yolanda López, who resigned as Voice of America’s acting director in late September, has moved on to her next role.
She started a new position this week at the Inter-American Development Bank as Chief of the Communications Division of the Knowledge, Innovation and Communication Sector.
López had a lengthy career in broadcast news in various managerial roles at VOA and at Univision Chicago and Los Angeles, prior to joining the IDB.
During a 6-year sabbatical from news, before accepting a position at VOA, López worked in marketing and communications in her native Spain.
