Geraldo Rivera is back in the TV news business. He has joined Nexstar’s cable news network NewsNation as correspondent-at-large.
An Emmy and Peabody Award-winning journalist, he will be appearing across the network’s daytime and primetime programming.
Rivera, who spent 23 years at Fox News, abruptly quit the conservative cable network in June 2023.
At the time, he made the announcement on social media, but would go on to say an on-air good-bye the next day on Fox & Friends.
Before his more than two-decade run at Fox News, he worked at ABC News where he was an original anchor on “Good Morning America.” He was also a 20/20 senior investigative reporter.
Rivera enjoyed great success as producer and host of his syndicated “The Geraldo Rivera Show” from 1987-1998.
