Priscilla Alvarez has been promoted to correspondent, covering the White House.
Alvarez, who started working for the cable news network’s politics team in 2019, was assigned as a reporter for the White House team in December 2022.
Since joining CNN, she has covered immigration politics and policy, as well as major breaking news out of the White House.
Alvarez began her journalism career at The Atlantic as an assistant editor and writer.
She is currently a board member of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists’ DC chapter.
