Alfredo Valdés has joined Telemundo 39 Phoenix as meteorologist for Noticiero Telemundo Arizona.
A weather forecaster, climatologist and scientific researcher, he’ll be delivering weather updates on the station’s weekday morning newscasts.
He starts his new role on Monday, May 27.
From 2018 to 2021, he worked to develop services and projects associated with adaptation and climate change at Biosoluciones y Ciencias México.
Valdés started his career in Cuba as a researcher and specialist in agricultural meteorology, synoptic and climatology at the Provincial Meteorological Center of Ciego de Ávila.
