Sarah García has been promoted to weekend news anchor at Telemundo 40 Rio Grande Valley.
She now anchors weekends at 5 and 10 pm, alongside weather anchor Gabriela Gutierrez and sports anchor Hector Severeyn.
García will continue to serve as a weekday multimedia journalist.
A University of Texas Rio Grande Valley began, García began her journalism career as an intern at KTLM in 2017 before working as a production assistant. She moved up to a reporter role in 2019.
