Eddie Cancela has been named general manager and VP of sales for SBS Puerto Rico, effective Monday, July 15.
In his new role, he’ll be responsible for supervising and implementing effective sales strategies for all departments within SBS Puerto Rico, including radio stations Estereotempo and Zeta 93, and Mega TV.
Cancela will report directly to Donny Hudson, EVP local sales U.S. and general manager of SBS Miami.
He has most recently national sales manager for SBS since August 2021.
Cancela rejoined the company a year earlier after a two-decade break, during which he worked for other media companies, including KVEA-52 in Los Angeles and the Azteca América station in Miami.
