CBS News has named Adriana Diaz co-host of CBS Mornings Plus, part of its expanding live morning TV and streaming news programming.
The new 9 am hour will launch kick off Monday, Sept. 30, and will air weekdays on CBS-owned stations in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Detroit and Miami. It will also be simulcast on CBS News 24/7, CBS News’ free streaming news network.
Diaz will be sharing anchoring duties with Tony Dokoupil, who co-hosts CBS Mornings with Gayle King and Nate Burleson.
Diaz joined CBS News in 2012 and has served as anchor of the Saturday edition of the CBS Weekend news since January 2021. She has also been a CBS News Asia correspondent, based in China, and a Chicago-based correspondent.
