Noticias Univision announced it will host two town halls with both presidential candidates on two different dates and locations.
The first special, “Los Latinos Preguntan … Donald Trump Responde,” which was scheduled to air on Tuesday, Oct 8, at 10 p.m. ET from Miami, FL, has been postponed to Oct. 16, due to Hurricane Milton.*
“Los Latinos Preguntan … Kamala Harris Responde” will be broadcast two days later, on Thursday, Oct 10, at 10 p.m. ET from Las Vegas, NV.
Both events will air coast-to-coast with Spanish-language translation on Univision, stream on ViX’s Noticias 24/7 channel, and be available in English on Noticias Univision’s YouTube channel.
Enrique Acevedo will moderate both town halls, featuring undecided Hispanic voters who will get to ask questions of each candidate.
Although currently not anchoring TelevisaUnivision’s U.S. newscasts, the company chose Acevedo – not Jorge Ramos, who will leave Univision at the end of the year – for these election events. Acevedo has previously conducted other high-profile interviews for Univision, including one earlier this year with President Joe Biden.
* Updated following TelevisaUnivision’s announcement on Sunday, Oct. 6.
