Noticias Telemundo and Radio Ambulante Studios launch election podcast

Noticias Telemundo and Radio Ambulante Studios, announced the premiere of “El péndulo,” a new limited series elelction podcast that explores the issues motivating Latino voters in key battleground states.

Noticias Telemundo’s Julio Vaqueiro hosts the six-episode series.

With original reporting from the award-winning teams of journalists at Radio Ambulante Studios and Noticias Telemundo, the series looks at the politically diverse Latino electorates in Pennsylvania, Nevada, Arizona, North Carolina and Florida. Through interviews and on-the-ground reporting, the series captures the contrasting voices of Latino voters and the issues they care about most.

Available starting today, the first episode of “El péndulo” looks at Pennsylvania, where Latinos are the fastest-growing demographic group and make up an emerging majority of residents in a stretch of small and mid-sized cities in northeastern Pennsylvania known as the “Latino Belt.”

Upcoming episodes will be released every Thursday through Election Day, with a final post-election episode.

Alana Casanova-Burgess, an award-winning journalist and host of the bilingual podcast “La Brega” is the series’ executive producer.

“El péndulo” can be heard on Radio Ambulante Studio’s podcast series feed Central and through feed drops on the podcast shows Radio Ambulante and El hilo. Video versions of the podcast will be available on Noticias Telemundo’s YouTube channel and NoticiasTelemundo.com. It will also be available on podcast platforms including iHeart, Apple Podcasts, Amazon Music and Spotify.
