Telemundo Houston KTMD-TV has announced the addition of Marlene Guzmán to its news team as a reporter.
Her on-air debut is today, November 18.
An Emmy-award-winning journalist, Guzmán joins from Televisa-Univision, where she was a Texas-based national correspondent for two years. She previously worked at KXLN Univision 45 in Houston, starting as a news producer in 2016. A year later, she was promoted to an on-air talent role, becoming a weekend news anchor and reporter until February 2022.
Her career also includes prior roles as news anchor and producer at Entravision’s FOX and Univision stations in Laredo and as an on-air personality at CBS Radio Houston’s KLOL Mega 101-FM.
A Houston native, Guzmán also worked as a national and regional news correspondent for Azteca, where she got her start in the media industry.
