Telemundo is launching “El Pelotazo,” a new late-night sports show premiering on March 10.
The program will air live at midnight ET/PT, Monday through Friday.
Hosted by ports journalists Verónica Rodríguez, Pablo Mariño, and Diego Arrioja, the show will offer the latest sports news, analysis, and special guest appearances.
Mexico native Rodríguez is known for her work as a host for Telemundo’s “Zona Mixta” and Liga MX’s Chivas de Guadalajara pre- and post-game shows, as well as FOX Sports.
Mariño, from Argentina, is an MLS soccer analyst, whose experience includes presenter gigs for Telemundo and beIN Sports, among other radio and TV networks.
Arrioja, also from Mexico and an MLS soccer analyst, has been an on-air host and reporter for Telemundo and ESPN.
“El Pelotazo” will feature segments such as “Minuto de Fama,” where celebrities discuss their sports passions, “¡Se Busca!,” a nostalgic look at legendary athletes, and “Mano a Mano,” which will share exclusive stories from top athletes.
Produced by Telemundo Deportes, the show will originate from Telemundo Center in Miami and integrate social media to encourage fan participation.
