Univision anchor María Elena Salinas has bid farewell to her readers. She writes the decision wasn’t easy:
“The reason is simple: After 10 years of writing a weekly column in English and Spanish, I need a break. My day job’s schedule is more demanding, as is my role as a single mother of two teenage daughters,” she wrote in her final column, which ran yesterday.
Her English and Spanish columns were distributed by King Features Syndicate.

I had much respect for this woman, and considered her very professional compared to other journalists. When asked in an interview who she wished she interviewed, who was her dream, she said "Luis Miguel" It happened a few years later.
That plus her nasty divorce.
The made approximately $2 million a year, compared to 300,000 by her husband. Rule is whom ever makes the most, pays the other. She refused yo compensate her ex.
Like they say in spanish, Caras vemos, corazones no sabemos.
