Entravision has inaugurated brand new media facilities for its Denver station. The 16,000 square-foot building includes a state-of-the-art broadcast television, radio and digital media entertainment center, aimed to “meet growing demands of viewers and advertisers.”
The station’s new location, near Sports Authority Field at Mile High, has spectacular views of downtown Denver, providing a “one-of-a-kind” backdrop for its nightly newscast.
According to Entravision, the new equipment “will permit more viewer interactivity with its multi-use broadcast set, allowing the news team to produce more segments and programs.”
The station’s local 5:00 and 10 pm “Noticias Colorado” newscasts will also be broadcast in HD, providing viewers with real-time news updates. Nielsen ratings for November show “Noticias Colorado” at 5 pm ranked second in the market among adults ages 18-49, while the 10:00 pm newscast ranked second among adults 18-34.
Colorado is one of Entravision’s strongest media clusters. It has 4 television stations, 4 radio stations, websites and other interactive digital media. In Denver, Entravision operates KCEC-TV Univision and provides sales and marketing services for KTFD-TV TeleFutura. It also owns and operates radio stations KJMN José 92.1 FM, KMXA María 1090 AM and KXPK La Tricolor 96.5 FM.
Entravision also operates radio and television broadcasts in Aspen and Colorado Springs.
