Silvia Pereida has landed a job as a weeknight News Producer for KMTR Newsource 16.
Her start date at the Sinclair Broadcasting-owned NBC affiliate in Eugene, Oregon is November 17.
Silvia was most recently a freelance production assistant for the National Hispanic Media Coalition. She previously worked as a freelance as producer for M.U.S.E., a lifestyle, community, sports, technology and entertainment digital news site.
She also did a brief stint as a freelance producer for Pasadena Media’s public access channel programs after graduating from college last year.
