“Today” news anchor Natalie Morales is moving to California. Starting this summer, she’ll be the new co-host of entertainment news magazine “Access Hollywood” and “Access Hollywood Live.”
She’ll also be a West Coast anchor for NBC, contributing stories to “Today.”
In a memo sent to staff about the move, “Today” SVP Noah Oppenheim said Natalie will “also continue to play a prominent role on Dateline.”
She’ll be replacing “Access Hollywood” co-host Billy Bush, who’s moving to New York to become a co-host on “Today.”
Natalie, who joined “Today” in 2006, is currently news anchor for the NBC morning show from 7 to 9 am and a co-host of the 9 am hour.
She was previously an anchor and correspondent for MSNBC from 2002 to 2006.
