Univision Houston anchor Michelle Galván is stepping in as the new co-host for “Primer Impacto.”
She will be hosting the Univision network newsmagazine alongside Pamela Silva Conde.
Her first day will be March 13.
Galván replaces Bárbara Bermudo. Univision opted to not renew Bermudo’s contract in January.
Galván previously guest co-hosted “Primer Impacto” for two months in 2015, filling in for Bermudo.
Prior to joining Univision Houston, Galván presented the international news segment for “Primero Noticias,” a daily morning news program from Mexico’s Televisa Network.
She previously worked as an anchor on Televisa-owned cable news network Foro TV.
