Univision has hired Lisa Valentino as Executive Vice President, Revenue Innovation, as part of the company’s revamping of its revenue structure.
She starts her new role on February 12, 2018, based out of Univision’s NY headquarters.
Valentino, who was most recently Chief Revenue Officer for Industry and Agency at Condé Nast, will report to Tonia O’Connor, Chief Revenue Officer.
Univision says Valentino’s appointment is a key component of the company’s new revenue structure that creates one integrated, innovative revenue team leveraging distribution and advertising functions with the goal of expediting its monetization strategy.
Valentino’s responsibilities include sales oversight of digital, branded entertainment, experiential and events, advertiser creative, consumer insights, and data-informed audience-based targeting.
Prior to Condé Nast, Valentino worked at ESPN from 2006 to 2014, leaving the company as SVP of Multimedia Sales. She previously spent 9 years at Yahoo!
