Telemundo 33 Sacramento is launching an 11 pm newscast focusing on California news from a Latino perspective.
“Noticias Telemundo California” kicks off tonight. The newscast will air in Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Fresno and the Central Valley.
Guillermo Martínez, who joined the station in October, will be the show’s solo anchor.
Former Univision Sacramento reporter Alejandra Quezada was hired to produce the show. She will also do some on-air reporting.
The Serestar Communications-owned station debuted its first ever newscast, airing at 6 pm, in November of 2016.
