Robert Sarabia has been named president and general manager of KVDA Telemundo 60, responsible for leading all station operations.
He replaces José Alberto Suárez, who moved to Sacramento, California to run Telemundo’s recently acquired stations from Serestar Communications.
Sarabia started his new role at KVDA this week.
He joins the station from KTMD Telemundo Houston, where he was VP of Sales. He had been at the station since 2013.
Prior to joining Telemundo Houston, Sarabia was VP and general manager of Azteca América’s affiliate TV stations KYAZ Houston, KVDF San Antonio, and KADF Austin from 2011 to 2013.
He previously spent 13 years with Univision in numerous roles with increasing responsibility, including general sales manager at Univision station KWEX in San Antonio.
