Gustavo Serrano has started a new job as a senior producer at CBS News.
He is part of the senior overnight team responsible for the editorial content and production of CBS This Morning.
Prior to starting at CBS News in September, he was Director of U.S. Content at i24NEWS in New York City, joining the Israeli news network as executive producer in 2017.
He previously consulted TEGNA Media’s morning news programming on strategy, production, editorial, content, and management.
In 2013, Serrano was part of the launch team for Al Jazeera America’s 2-hour morning show producing breaking news and packaging daily international and domestic stories.
Before returning to news, Serrano was a field producer for various talk shows, including Dr. Phil, Montel Williams and Anderson Cooper.
Earlier in his career, Serrano also held morning producing jobs with ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s NY affiliate WNBC and FOX 5 WNYW.
