Iris Rodríguez is KTLM Telemundo 40’s new news director.
The Rio Grande Valley station today announced her promotion, effective immediately.
She takes over the newsroom’s leadership, replacing Miguelángel López, who moved to Orlando in January to become VP of News at WTMO Telemundo 31.
Rodríguez, who joined Telemundo 40 as executive producer in 2015, will be in charge of the overall operations and performance of the station’s newsroom, including the news productions across multiple media platforms.
