Alexander Zapata has been upped to anchor and producer for Noticias Univisión Nevada’s 6 and 11 pm newscasts.
Based in Denver, he’ll also be anchoring Noticias Univision Colorado at 5 pm.
Prior to the promotion, Zapata was a multimedia journalist for Noticias Univision Nevada since 2018.
He previously worked as an MMJ and assistant producer for Telemundo Las Vegas. He was also a reporter for The Nevada Independent and a radio host for Política para ti at Radio La Voz de Nevada.
Zapata got his start in the industry in his native Venezuela, working in radio and television.
