Longtime reporter Oswaldo Borraez has been promoted to anchor at KMEX Univision 34 Los Angeles.
He stepped in to the 6 pm anchor slot on an interim basis alongside Andrea Gonzalez in January, following León Krauze’s departure. Now, Univision has officially made his move to the anchor desk permanent for the 6 pm newscast.
An Emmy-award winning journalist, Borraez has been a reporter for Univision Los Angeles since 1994. He has covered breaking news, including police shootings, California wildfires, earthquakes, and the recent 2021 civil unrests in Los Angeles, among many other high-profile stories.
A native of Colombia, Borraez has also conducted special investigative reports and special series. In addition to his on-air duties, he is a journalism, broadcasting and investigative reporting instructor at UCLA.

Quizá tenga muchos años como reportero pero le falta gracias pa es conducir un noticiero. El tipo se ve entre espantado o muy serio en cámara.
